This past March, we wrapped up the quarter with an unforgettable behind-the-scenes tour of Lumen Field, and it did not disappoint.
Our Vice President of Professionalism, Alexis Nguyen, brought together 20 brothers in attendance. The 75-minute tour gave us exclusive access to areas most fans never get to see. Coming right after a Seattle Seahawks win made the experience even more exciting and energetic.
We explored the press box, locker rooms, and jersey room, and walked through a hallway lined with signed jerseys from famous artists, DJs, and athletes. One of the biggest highlights was stepping out onto the field itself, where we got to hold and raise the flag. We also toured the VIP suites and saw one of the most unique features in the stadium: a helmet wall showcasing every high school football team across Washington, highlighting the strong connection to the local community.
Beyond the experience itself, learning about the coordination required to deliver a seamless game day operation really emphasized the importance of teamwork, communication, and attention to detail — all skills we value as future business professionals.
A big thank you to our tour guides, Cindy Gorath and Michelle, as well as Tarang Jammalamadaka, for helping arrange this opportunity.
It was the perfect way to end the quarter while still learning something new and a reminder of how experiences like this make DSP so impactful for our members.
